Krampe has for many years been manufacturing conveyor belt trailers, these innovative systems in a range of different versions, refining them down to every detail and implementing user ideas along the way.

The latest update added an unloading blade to the semi trailers in late 2014. Running in floor mounted rails, the blade is pulled along as the belt moves to the rear. Equipped with robust scrapers and a guide roll at the rear end of the machine, the new design warrants the belt system is thoroughly cleaned during each unloading cycle. As another advantage, the unloading blade eliminates any bridging effects and thus any air pockets that might develop in material such as peat or sawdust, discharging the material at a rate of much less than 2 minutes.

This system modification also translates into new structure dimensions and a new design: Krampe conveyor belt semi trailers are now available in body lengths of 10.7 m to 13.2 m, offering volume capacities from 55 m³ to 86 m^³. The gross weight is 39 t and the technical payload 30 t as a maximum.

These trailers unload material such as grain, silage, fertiliser, wood chips, pellets, shredded material and household waste as well as sticky material like compost and partly sewage sludge effectively and nearly without residues.

This unloading technology is a bench marker in terms of flexibility and viability.

All known benefits are still applicable.
